Gods Power In Me

Colossians 1:28-29. This Sunday we conclude our Colossians series. It’s an all-age service for the long weekend. We will include time in small groups praying for our church and nation and celebrating communion together. God has called each of us to “work strenuously” to proclaim Christ and make disciples. But not in our own strength. We do this “with all the energy Christ so powerfully works within us”. What does it look like for the church to walk in the power of our risen Saviour?

Expectant Joy

Luke 1:39-56 bursts into a song of expectant joy from unexpected voices. Pregnant praise prophesy the overthrow of empires through the promised prince of peace.

The Peace of Christ

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. COL 3:15-17.
